I was asked on my talk to usurp the existing account by a steward but notified him we have a request page. As far as I know, the account q:user:Dodo belongs to la:user:Dodo=cs:user:Dodo who was active on Wikimedia project from 2005 till May 2008. I am not sure your request can be processed. For example, English Wikiquote has a strict rule of consent of the affected party and I am not sure if he or she let you usurp his accounts used since 2005, specially if he or she is just now on a wikibreak. --Aphaia 20:03, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Just a pointer: he did not submit to request any wiki where cs:Dodo has been active. Notice that es:dodo is also a long time contributor (back from 2004). I jsut forwarded the request to local bureaucrats (as we stewards shouldn't do those). es:Drini 20:13, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Nothing, the situation will stay as it is now, if he does not want a new name where he could use sul too, he will never be able to and You maybe never be able to have a fully working one. Hello, have You even had a look at the link we have here? They have an English description too [2]. I guess they might even have people who can speak English, I guess most of their crats can. Also with some efford You could find out the babel information on the crats userpages by typing pl:special:listusers/bureaucrat or [3] to find them. The German Markus Kuhn account is not mine, but his edits appear to be copies of my own edits to an English article, to a copy of that article. Very strange ... this is clearly not a regular user account, which is why I'm asking here for an expert to look into what happened. Markus Kuhn 20:24, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

They imported two articles, from en.wiki [4] and [5].

Therefore the edits of the de.wiki Markus Kuhn appear to be older than his registration date even [6], [7].

The only edit the user seems to have made himself is [8].

Markus, the only problem that will now persist (but which none of us could solve) is that the imported contributions are now of another account, that is a problem importing creates (because it adds the contributions to the local names instead of just linking the authors in the history to the origin) ;(

However, the account de:Markus Kuhn, is now all Yours.

Hello, we can't delete accounts, please read SUL before activating it. If You activate SUL accounts are reserved for You on any wmf-wiki.

If You don't want to have sul anymore we can delete that for You, please make sure to have a valid, confirmed email in Your special:preferences for Your own safety then and let us know here. Please note that then Your nick won't be protected anymore, anyone could create it on a wiki where You are not yet registered.

But if you re-create one later you will have the same effect, namely that whenever you visit another wiki you will get an account there automatically. Yes, You could, via special:mergeaccount,

but

This is a Sisyphean task, as Thogo sais.
You might not be able to merge it fully because in the meantime, while sul is deactivated, Your nick is (as said) not protected anymore, and anyone could create that account where it does not yet exist => when remerging You will have blocking accounts which might not be solvable if the other user has edits.
