Since I've started using my real name on en.wiki, I was informed via email that the above account (a global one, again) was created. Nope, they have local bureaucrats, so we can't touch it. What you can do is to visit es.wikipedia and ask them to rename that user, though. They have directions in English at es:Wikipedia:Cambiar el nombre de usuario/English. Best of luck! Kylu 08:57, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

The target account has no edits.

Just a thought, if you could get a local bureaucrat to agree to re-sysop you afterwords, we could de-sysop you and delete the global, that way it wouldn't take precedence. Since you've got local bureaucrats, we can't re-sysop you, of course. Kylu 01:37, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

What you could try is changing the password and email on your homewikis account. Then unify that account. Since no wikis where you have the same password or email will be found, that should automatically be your homewiki. Then you can manually merge the rest, and change the password and email back. You would still need the global account deleted first, and the 'homewiki' wiki is still no different then any other wiki (quite useless in fact). Prodego ^talk 01:44, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
